We are a specialist data migration and data quality consultancy looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to work on varied customer and internal projects in the UK. Excellent opportunity to work with FTSE100 Companies and on Government projects. Initially based in Beckenham on a large client change programme, you will be project managing the data migration stream working in conjunction with the client’s project managers and programme manager.You should be a Prince 2 practitioner who is able to demonstrate strong knowledge of the Prince2 methodology as well as having experience of the software development life cycle. You must have excellent experience of creating project plans and managing projects using MS Projects and experienced in the usual project manager responsibilities such as managing risks, issues, scope, raising change requests etc
As the role is client facing you will need to be confident, well presented and have good communication skills both written and oral. Ideally you will have experience of delivering and managing projects for clients
The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly at client sites UK wide, on long and short term assignments.
Essential Skills:
- Prince 2 practitioner
- Proficiency in MS Project
- Excellent presentation/communication skills
- Candidate must be prepared to undergo security clearance checks
Desirable Skills:
- ITIL certification
Position: Data Migration / IT Consultant - Ref DM1701

We are a specialist data migration and data quality consultancy looking to recruit a consultant to work on varied customer projects in the UK. Excellent opportunity to work with FTSE100 Companies and Government projects. Great career prospects for the right candidate. You will have a strong consulting background, a firm understanding of data migration and data quality concepts, excellent database and general programming/Scripting skills. Experience of a wide range of ETL toolsets is desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly at client sites UK wide, on long and short term assignments.Essential Skills:
- Minimum 5 years IT consulting experience
- Minimum 5 years relational database skills e.g. Oracle, SQL Server including very strong SQL skills
- Strong general programming/scripting skills
- Demonstrable data migration experience
- Must have data analysis and data quality expertise
- Excellent presentation/communication skills
Desirable Skills:
- C++ development, XML
- Experience of a wide range of ETL toolsets
- Experience of migrating a variety of data sources (Oracle, Btrieve, Flat Files)
