'Test Connection' isn't working for my System, whats wrong?
- There are a few reasons this could be happening:
- Ensure that your Lynx product is not installed into a folder with ()'s in the name, as this is a known issue when using Oracle's ODBC drivers.
- Check that you have entered the correct user name and password in the Systems Tab
- If using 'OS Authenticated', confirm with your Administrator that this is true.
- Check that your ODBC connection is working properly by following these steps:
- Click 'Start'
- Click 'Control Panel'
- Click 'Administrative Tools'
- Click 'Data Sources (ODBC)'
- Find your ODBC connection and ensure that the details are correct, Most ODBC drivers setup here have the option to 'Test Connection' - Once this works, your DataLynx tool should connect.

Why is my modal value prefixed with an asterisk(*) in my profiling results?
- The asterisk is denoting that there is more than one modal value, the value shown after the asterisk is the first value returned after sorting the list into ascending order.

My profiling results show there are multiple mode values. When I save this as a dictionary there is now an empty row in my new dictionary. Why is this?
- The 'empty' row is showing that 'NULL' is also the modal value, we do not display this value on Drilldown.
